Cinderella, Pop Star

Hilary is an up and coming 18 year old singer/songwriter from Toronto in the pop/rock genre with a desire to be the next big pop star!! Hilary won Best Female Vocal in the prestigious Hollywood Music in Media Awards for her song ‘We’re Smokin’ Hot’ in November 2009 – and was profiled on ET Canada as a rising independent artist! Hilary was also a Top 10 Finalist in the Rising Star Awards 2009 as part of British Music Week in London England in October. Hilary’s song ‘Put Your Hands Up’ played on the Degrassi Show in November.

Hilary performs throughout Toronto and the GTA, including Breakfast Television, Yonge-Dundas Square, Nathan Phillips Square, the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts, Six Degrees, the Smiling Buddha, Indielove Sunday Idol Show, and the Rising Star Competition at the CNE.

Hilary has studied with performance coach Micah Barnes and vocal coach Julie Forrester and attended Etobicoke School of the Arts for her final year of high school. Hilary has been accepted to the prestigious Berklee College of Music and hopes to continue her music education there in 2011. To enhance her performance abilities, Hilary has also worked on her acting and dancing through programs such as the Triple Threat Program at the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts.

We had my daughter’s Cinderella birthday party yesterday. I just wanted to pass along that Hilary was absolutely wonderful! What an amazing voice and talent! The kids were in complete awe, mezmorized, and we were thrilled. It was so cute to watch. It was so worth it!
